8 Mental Tips For Insane Muscle Gain
Realizing insane muscle gain is not a cakewalk.
The only way you can achieve insane muscle gain and substantial muscle growth is by constantly pushing your body to do more reps with more weight on every subsequent gym visit.
To be honest, most people never realize insane muscle gain because they simply do not put in the proper time and effort. You may wonder why, but there's a simple explanation…
It's tough physically. It hurts. It pushes your body to its breaking point.
Still, there is no other way to realize insane muscle gain except through the torture that comes with working out with maximum intensity.
However, there are a few "Jedi mind tricks" that you can use on yourself to overcome those mental roadblocks that shift your attention onto pain instead of insane muscle gain. Give some thought to using the following tips and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish…
1) Life-Threatening Situations
When you start to approach the time when you want to quit, visualize a life-or-death predicament where somebody's life depends on your ability to move the weight. Example: when performing chin-ups you can imagine that you are hanging perilously from a cliff, or during a dead lift you can visualize that you are rescuing a child trapped under a vehicle.

2) Magnetic Force
This is like using the force - pretend that the weights are actually magnets that are being pulled in the direction you are pushing. When performing the bench press, imagine that there is a large magnet on the ceiling that is pulling the bar towards it.
3) Envision Your Muscles
Keep in mind that your only goal when you go to the gym is to get insane muscle gain by causing enough muscle damage that your body responds by making your muscles larger and stronger. To maintain concentration, visualize what's occurring to your muscle fibers while you exercise. Visualize those muscle fibers being damaged then supplemented with blood and nutrients, understanding that this is exactly the path that will let you achieve insane muscle gain.
4) Have Someone Watch You
I don't mean spotters, I mean spectators. It's a natural human emotion to want to put on a show to show people what you can do.
5) Positive/Negative Force
You can ease your exercises by pretending that you are pushing something negative away from you. It doesn't matter what you pick, just as long as it's something you despise. It could be a certain emotion, object, or even and individual. For pulling motions, pretend in an opposite fashion. Imagine that you are reeling in money, a good feeling, or a person you deeply desire.
6) Set Ridiculous Goals
If you want to do 8 reps, set a goal of doing 100. Convince yourself this is possible. Once you begin your reps, keep telling yourself that you won't stop until you do 100.
7) Close Your Eyes
You only want to do this with simple exercises and routines. You should never use this technique for insane muscle gain exercises like the dead lift or the squat. With the simplest exercises, close your eyes. Direct all of your attention to performing the actual set since you have no blocked out everything else.
8) Pretend It's Someone Else's Pain
Insane muscle gain does not come free and the price you must pay is to exert yourself to the point of muscular failure or very near it. Transfer your pain by imagining it belongs to someone else. The more you exert yourself, the more he or she hurts. It might sound like an extreme method, but it clearly works.
Implement these 8 techniques and I guarantee that you'll be building muscle like never before.
