Cable Crossovers


 

Exercise:

Cable Crossovers

Target Muscle:

Chest

Secondary Muscle:

Shoulders/Biceps

Equipment Needed:

Central cable unit with 2 overhead pulleys

Proper Execution:

Grab both handles from the cable machine and pull them in towards your body. Put one foot ahead of the other and lean slightly forward. With a slight bend in your arms, move the handles toward eachother using an arching motion in front of your chest. Squeeze your chest as the handles touch, and then return them back to the starting position.

Tips:

Keep your arms slightly bent throughout the entire motion and make sure to squeeze your chest as you complete the positive portion of the rep.
