Building Muscle At Home: Is It Possible?

I receive daily correspondence from bodybuilding enthusiasts, and the most popular question they ask is…

"Do I need to join a gym to get a toned, muscular physique?"

The answer is no, it is not necessary to join a gym. It is a simple task to begin building muscle at home with the proper plan of attack and equipment.

I saw amazing gains when I spent my first two years building muscle at home with some elementary equipment stored in my basement.

A gym membership is not in everyone's budget.

If you're pressed for time, you won't need as much of it if you're building muscle at home.

Maybe you aren't comfortable with your body and you may not feel at ease training at a workout facility.

No need to fret, you can avoid the gym and build muscle at home!

Although I currently train at a gym with a workout partner, I benefitted tremendously from the time I spent building muscle at home.

I saved time by not having to drive to and from a gym. Once I began building muscle at home, I could workout at anytime since all of my needed equipment was just a few steps away.

I did not have to worry about my musical tastes upsetting people at the gym.

I could yell and scream to my heart's desire without affecting other people (hey, it hurts to squat to failure!). Since I was building muscle at home, I didn't even need to be fully dressed, if I so desired.

When I finished my workout, I could comfortably lay on the floor in cheerful exhaustion, realizing that my post-exercise shakes were upstairs waiting for me. There would be no delay to getting nutrition as I did not have to drive home.

I have to admit it was fairly cool.
