Are Bodybuilders Workouts
Worth Your Time?

You may not believe this, but bodybuilders workouts (the ones in magazines and on the internet) will be of little benefit if you are trying to gain weight. This includes workout advice from IFBB professionals.

While these guys may have massive, ripped bodies, they generally do not have the best bodybuilders workouts. Moreover, they usually don't give great advice.

Unfortunately, professional bodybuilding is wrought with corruption and law-breaking, and it's a lifestyle you need to avoid. For the most part, these guys won the genetic "lottery", so their bodies benefit from pretty much any type of bodybuilders workouts. They typically use illegal and harmful substances such as steroids and growth hormones to accentuate their gains.

While this is not the forum to discuss the ethics of steroid use, many of these bodybuilders inject themselves with massive amounts of anabolic steroids and growth hormones to help grow more muscle, which can be a dangerous approach.

Furthermore, they typically push the human body beyond its breaking point with their bodybuilders workouts. This is not the kind of routine that you need to have as part of your weight training and bodybuilding nutrition regimen.

Although there are some atypical bodybuilders workouts that are only successful for those that won the genetic lottery, the vast majority of us will not obtain any gains from these methods, meaning that they are probably best just avoided.
